Man-made fiber, Chemical industry

Man-made fibers and strings are main raw material which develops technical textile market. Technical textile is used in engineering industry, building industry, highway engineering, agriculture, etc.

Nowadays different man-made fibers (polyamide, polyester, polypropylene) are produced under many commercial names: caprone, spandex, etc. Different man-made fiber producing processes are not same but have similar thing – working area air polluting and different harmful gases and fumes atmospheric emission. For example:

  • While manufacturing process of “spandex” thread there is emissions to working area air and through ventilating system to atmosphere: tetrahydrofuran, butanol, dimethylformaldehyde, AMT-300 oil aerosol.

  • While manufacturing process of capron thread there is emissions to air of working area and through ventilating system to atmosphere: caprolactam, dinyl, acetic acid, lubricating agent oil and aerosols (Ñèíòîêñ, Òýïðåì,…)

Information
Caprolactam (lactam E- of aminocapronic acid) Water-soluble, alcohol-soluble, benzol-soluble. Can irritate skin.

MPC in working area air: 10 mg/m3
Tetrahydrofuran, colorless unsteady liquid, water-soluble. Labeled as a drug which irritates mucous tunic.
MPC in working area air: 100 mg/m3
MPC in city air average daily: 0,2 mg/m3

Harmful gases and fumes generated in production of man-made fibers and threads can be removed from a working zone and fabrication facilities using exhaust ventilation and release into the atmosphere. But in that case two main difficulties appear:

  • Necessity to heat and fan incoming air in rooms.

  • Government limitation to release of harmful substances into atmosphere.

Now available several technologies of cleaning air from harmful substances: absorbing (activated carbon), scrubbers (liquid absorption), biological cleaning, reburning, catalytic, photocatalytic and gas-discharge-catalytic. All these technologies have positive and negative sides.

”Ecopromika” company Ltd worked out and produce special equipment complex for cleaning air on man-made fiber enterprises – “Gasconvertor “Yatagan”. For today these type of equipment has the best “cost-quality” and “efficiency-dimensions” performance, practically doesn’t have replaceable parts, doesn’t need wastes utilization and has lowest cost of operation. “Gasconvertor “Yatagan” installations efficiency confirmed by many tests on a stand in laboratory environment and operating enterprises.

Rest on field experience of  “Gasconvertor “Yatagan” on a different enterprises we recommend:

    • To clean ventilating emissions use “Gasconvertor “Yatagan Õ,X – 2000”. installations ;

    • To clean air in recycling ventilating systems use “Gasconvertor “Yatagan Õ,X – 200R”  or  “Gasconvertor “Yatagan Õ,X – 2000R”.

For reference list contact our commercial managers.

“Gasconvertor “Yatagan air cleaning installations used on enterprises like part of ventilating systems (combined extract and input ventilation, recycling ventilation), or like separate local air cleaners.
